what might we take away from today's news that the CME is doing an IPO? that chat of Nasdaq doing an IPO pretty much marked the top in the 'Dung. so if the Merc is doing an IPO, the contrarian would IMO say that we're pretty much close to top-ticking the market for interest rate and stock futures (in terms of volume).

and if we're closing in on the top for interest rate and stock futures volume, what might that mean? hedge fund blow-up and reversal coming (as per Jim Grant); real estate cycle over; terming out of long-term debt running its course?
