I don't know that dog song, but I suspect it doesn't keep saying "you got something I need" and "you got something for me," and, once, even "around the world," (a slang term you and Mrs. Peel probably don't know, but it was current then) and suchlike, does it?

You realize, don't you, that that song is actually an anti-feminist screed referring to the war between the sexes. It plays on the themes of "let loose the dogs of war," and of women of certain appearance being called dogs. The symbolism of the song is that the feminists have been let loose and are polluting the spring break dating scene by replacing the beautiful bevies of bikinied babes with feminist dogs.

You see, you have to learn how to listen to and understand these songs.
