Thanks for the links. I'll look them over in the am. Note the dates on the bills. Last week, Mr. Bush was speaking before a group somewhere in the midwest saying that it will be tough for him to get Congress to act on "his" proposal. Congress has been waiting for Mr. Bush's support since last year. How many in the audience knew that there were Bills and HRs on the Hill? A virtual zero. Any bets that Rush is going to mention much of them? I'm not. William Safire has his misgivings about the Administration, again.... nytimes.com One of these days, I should send an e-mail to Safire to check whether he wants to switch parties. jttmab
