Ascroft says: The attorney general emphasized that the apprehension had occurred because of excellent cooperation among the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Central Intelligence Agency and the Defense Department. a full month before Bush made his Homeland Security Agency announcement Thursday, those agencies were cooperating to bring this guy to justice. He was arrested in this country, yet inexplicably Ashcroft has to announce the fact from Russia. Shouldn't Tom Ridge be announcing that?
