I'll believe it Frankly, I don't believe you. But I'll give you a chance. Post publicly your agreement to and acceptance of the following agreement: I have asked Christopher Hodgkin (hereafter CH) to answer my question(s) about the meaning of two posts he made here on Silicon Investor (SI). I recognize that he has no legal or moral obligation to do so, but I wish him to do so. I have told him that I will believe him, despite his expressed doubts to the contrary. As an inducement to him to answer my questions, and to establish beyond doubt that I mean what I say, I enter into the following agreement and contract with CH. I promise without equivocation, question, doubt, or second thoughts to believe what CH tells me about the posts I questioned him about. Once I have his answer, I will not in any way, whether through public posting or private message, whether on Beanie Babies Collector's Forum on any other SI thread, or PM, or email, or personal conversation, or in any other way state, imply, infer, or otherwise indicate that I believe there might have been any meaning to the posts other than what CH tells me their meaning was. I will publicly recant and retract any posts I have written in the past which suggest a meaning to the posts contrary to what CH tells me their meaning was. Other than that post, I will totally and completely drop any other references to the posts I have questioned, now and forever. To prove that I am sincere in this, I have given non-retractable instructions to SI Jeff that if I post any posts which are in violation of the agreements herein, on a first violation he is instantly to suspend me from all posting on SI for one month, and on a second violation he is to permanently and forever ban me from any future posting anywhere on SI or any successor to SI. I agree that if SI Jeff does not comply with my requests and I post any messages, whether to CH or otherwise, during the times I have instructed SI Jeff to suspend or terminate my posting privileges on SI, CH is to have liquidated damages of $100 per post. I agree that he may bring suit against me in any Superior Court in and for the State of Washington to collect such damages, and I waive any objection to personal jurisdiction for such suit. I consider that the agreement of CH to answer my question is full and adequate consideration for these promises I give herein. If you want me to aswer the questions, agree to the above conditions, and I will do so. You say you will believe me. Prove it by agreeing.
