Hi Wayne

That sounds great. It's been a nice run.
As for me for now though, I'm very happy with how I've done, but I'm going to be away from the net for the summer, well more often than not and don't want to be worried about my Portfolio while I'm out of touch. I'm hedging that the tug of war thats going on at the moment and for who knows how long may offer me a new entry point later.
Talk to you soon

scott

Wayne:

Is your partner your wife???:)

This has been a great campaign. All I am holding in PM is some cumberland, western copper and a very small position in eco bay and TVX. I do maintain a fairly large long term position in gold mutual funds that I will not liquidate until prices are much higher or I beleive the long term situation has changed. I am not sure what I will be doing with the TVX and ECO in view of today, but the posisitons were very small. I also sold my ASA puts today that I bought as a hedge against lower prices, since I have liquidated most positions on close stops which took me out. I am not sure where to go from here. I want to thank you and all of the others on thread for their input which has helped me tremendously and without the advice of those on this thread I would not have had this very successful campaign.

From the technical position a lot of the stocks penetrated their fifty day moving averages today, while some held above it. There were a few downside gaps, which may or may not be short term exhaustion gaps, a few potential candlestick reversal patterns in some stocks, but equivocal at best. Also most PM stocks are at or below their lower bollinger lines which suggests an oversold condition. My best guess is that we will probably get a rally soon, but I am not able to play this as it could be over in a day or two and I am not that nimble. I have decided to stay away for the most part until things settle down and a safe re-entry can be made.
