Tell ya one thing, Paul... Late 2001 - early 2002 was one heck of an excellent time to think in terms of a turn... SP went down from the 1170's and into the 770's over the following months.

edit - and June 2002 wasn't such a shabby short entry either, if I understood your post correctly. June didn't have a change in trend, but rather a significant acceleration.
