Yes, finally the gold bugs got a deserved reward after waiting for so meany years... And even I admit that that I should consider this medieval relic as a financial instrument, (I even admitted so in public), no doubt my Ayn Rand friends (the more rabid type than I when it comes to Randianism) have smiles wider than a gato bodeguero -g as their cries for gold coins in stead of dollar bills look somehow attractive -gg. Perhaps it is too late for me as no doubt there will be some sort of profit taking or some sort of defense by the CB's to fend off the wolves, now at the gates. As for me, I cannot complain as I have played the short side relentlessly throughout 2002, so the lack of gold has not really impacted me as if I had not joined the dark side. Best of all, I now find myself far more comfortable holding (if at all) the short side than the long (no doubt the conspirationalist in me has bear fruit --then again, with the corporate thieves having learned from the usual burrocrat thieves, how can you blame me to think this way?). The only thing I am sorry for is that for the masses, the corporate bandido represents capitalism, which is not true, however, we all know that perception is reality... I suppose, since the Communists, (the usual tyrant), is long gone and dead, so the burrocrat, as usual, is shooting himself in the foot by brandishing the garden variety corporate thief as the representative of capitalism... Oh well... there is my rant, I will have to keep an eye on the shinny metal to see what it is up to, but quite frankly, I have found a magic wand of cash in the form of short term holding short selling evil dark side...' Still, it is never enough, so I will keep my eyes peeled. --Nevertheless, you should consider doing some more soccer watching the quality of the games has never been so good and better yet, it is wide open as the usual suspects are not even close to what they used to be, the games are very evenly matched. Last night, you should have seen these Korean red devils, they played as if they were truly possessed by el Chamuco and the USA was lucky to get a draw out of the game. ... don't forget to stop by and make your prediction, soon there will only be 16 teams left.
