America Is Not Your Grandfather's Type Of Country Anymore. And no matter how much you may want it to be..... It will never return to that time again..... There are many who would like some return to the values of days gone by , me being one, but there is no driving force to push that hard in that direction....... The US has just declared Russia a market economy......... Russia could not elevate itself to the heights of free market disciplined capitalism....... Now the US has lowered itself to Wild Wild West style frontier capitalistic mayhem......... This should be interesting to watch over the next few years, to see where the lowest common denominator falls. Your Grandfather's ( North )America has been under attack from within by corporate interests for decades. It's time to consider those attacks as more detrimental longer term than anything the fundamentalists could attain. Absolute corruption corrupts absolutely.
