You're right .. again! What's really ironic for me is that I had the correct formula in my "options expense" spreadsheet, then changed it to the bad one.

Which formula is correct becomes obvious when tax rate = 0. My formula blew up and went to infinity .. obviously wrong. Sorry to waste your time.

I hope I come back from "totally crackers" soon. <gg>

P.S. That means my calculated $12.31 ave market price on exercise date was also using the wrong formula. Now it's worse (lower) at $9.40. This stuff shouldn't be this tough.
