With 4000 miles of border, it is impossible to close it up. The desert probably does more to deter illegals than Border Patrol. Of course, as soon as we set up lemonade stands all over the place, more illegals will come in. I feel sorry for most of the Mexicans as they are just attempting to get away from the grinding poverty and corruption in Mexico.
