Yes, the announcement by Ashcroft from Russia was a little Kafka-esque, but the Feds had thirty days to make up their minds to keep him or let him go. So today was 30 days from June 8-plus the weekend. Meanwhile, they had him for 30 days to,.. er, interview him.... and keep quiet the fact that they had him at all.

Most of it makes sense. For example, the Secret Service comes under Treasury because its original purpose was to combat
counterfeiters. Now we have a billion one-dollar coins with an Indian woman on them that nobody uses, and nobody cares if they're
counterfeit.

People do care about this Ray. They want to see how someone will make money counterfeiting a $1 coin. Most of them are sitting in banks or people's dresser drawers and piggy banks.

Does that billion include the Susan B. Anthony dollars or is that another worry?
