Good one, Ted. And on the same note...altho' I'm not in ELON's fan club,...I AM in a dog called CNET that I'll fess up to, and no I didn't buy it on the first falling knife move, not that I'm any less bloody for that "timing blessing..."

I gotta tell you, Ted,
I'm enjoying the freedom of emailing in my proxy shares on these deals...CNET is a classic.
They want to cancel options and re-issue them at lower prices so that they will resume their "incentive" status.
(And guess how I'm voting on every "option package" deal presented to me?--and sending a hot email to each and every company I'm still holding about this very issue...thanks to the convenience of click and vote as opposed to mark the box and mail the sucker. And I bet I'm not alone!!!)

Now, is that cancel/reprice/reissue a crock or what? They weren't an incentive when the stock was trading bazillion dollars higher than they are now, but if we shareholders let them re-value, cancel and re-issue, then they will suddenly be more incentivized to make my company make me money?

WHERE IS THE SHAREHOLDER PAYDAY...

And while we're on the topic of accounting for options and feeling betrayed, how does one look into the abyss of this CNET type option accounting/reval/cancellation/reissue and then calculate the final hit to any company, ELON or otherwise who takes this 'let's re-incentivize our hard-workin' insiders' tack?

Thanks for your input. I look forward to your educational reply.
