There is not Aaron but in a book of legents. I do not accept him a an historical charcter, nor Noa, Moishé, Jeshu, & co. Those priest people who made them up had sufficient reasons to do so, for their own comfort first, but not only. Faith is good for some, at least all those who suffer, but not only as we all know so well. No problem with me. But only for those who need much. Not those that want the comfort, please. And about this comfort of them priests, the oldest, read the wisest ones, were the Cohen tribe. They understood it all. First. All they had to to is talk some and cut some live meat. Meat monopoly you can call it. Why did they have to do so ? The story ? As not to have you to spill gold's lively blood (in any animal), because you'll lose your sanctity state fore a few days (with heavy multihour daily homework praying. Thus they were sure to have their share of the meat to be eaten, and got paid first ( a 10% average, I'd guess, here). But in exchange you have not sinned by spilling God's blesses blood. F...en deal, with the value of animal protein first class thousands of years ago... Later, the way they'll use this blood bit in regard to women, protection from adultry etc it is a masterpiece of strategy. But back to the proteines blood issue, them Cohanim had a problem with fish. It bleeds too. But those rabbis were not crazy enough to stay on fishing boats all day waiting... so the fish blood was said as not a problem. Wise guys. Now, to call me, my dear Solon, whose thread I like much, to call me "...the voice and Will of God " is amazing. Not that I mind, but it is exactely the opposit: I don't have any belief whatsoever about those divinity most call God. It's like the triangle of Bermuda, for me, the Rosewell hoax, the human face on Mars etc. I don't mind others being so religious. But it is a bit frustrating, intellectually, I must admit. Great thinkers did give accurate and definitive answer on the subject of no god, long ago. . But I happen to like you people, so this is my contribution. Surely not a godly one. it xwasn't meant to be. More the opposite. The Thinking Native of some planet around some average star, in a very common galaxy.
