Patricia Dear: Long time no see. How ya been? Regarding Iraq, I believe that they and probably Iran are truly the root of the problem regarding terrorism. In the case of Iraq, they foment it to take the public eye off themselves, in the case of Iran its the fanatical religious element. Hopefully, by taking care of Iraq first Iran will come around since their people seem to wish to lean toward moderation, its the Mullahs that are the problem. The longer we ignore this simple concept the more danger we place ourselves and our allies in and the more difficult the final solution may be. Thats a fact of life that just cant be changed. JDN

Patricia, Sorry, but no cigar. The war is to combat terrorism whenever, and wherever, it may occur. You must have missed the speech made by President Bush where that was made clear, and acted upon by Congress. If you want to pick nits, Clinton's war in Kosovo was waged with no Congressional backing at all. If Reno had taken a trip to Moscow, they would have put her in a freak show. Even Russian women are not that ugly.

W h a t e v e r Pat....are you the finest mind in Constitutional Law the US has? No, didn't think so. What will you say when the US is attacked again? Let us hear your uttering and muttering. What did you say for the last decade when the USS Cole, the US embassies (sovereign territory of the US, BTW), and the 1st WTC were all attacked.....? Did you think it was OK??? Did the former President think it was OK...? We "heard his talk," and we also noted how he "walked his walk"....He couldn't EVEN BE BOTHERED to see his CIA Director James Woolsey for MONTHS!!!! Does that tell you ANYTHING?
