Notify Technology Introduces The First Enterprise Server Solution to Support Both Motorola and RIM Wireless Handheld Devices
SAN JOSE, Calif., Jun 11, 2002 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Notify Technology Corporation (Nasdaq: NTFY), today announced its corporate mobile email solution called NotifyLink Enterprise Exchange Edition has been enhanced to simultaneously support the (RIM) Research In Motion (Nasdaq: RIMM), 850/857 and/or 950/957 wireless handheld devices, as well as the Motorola Talkabout T900 and/or the Motorola Timeport P935. With NotifyLink, corporations can now utilize a multiple device, multiple network Enterprise Exchange Solution for their mobile workforce. This solution is designed for small to large-scale corporations requiring secure wireless push notification, access, and management of their email, calendar, contacts, tasks, and files, from a variety of 2-way devices. The NotifyLink Enterprise Edition will now support all RIM 950/957 devices, using the Mobitex network provided by Cingular Wireless in the United States and Rogers AT&T Wireless in Canada and all RIM 850/857 devices using the DataTAC network provided by Motient in the United States and Bell Mobility in Canada. Notify Technology's distribution channel for the NotifyLink Enterprise Solution will target large Mobitex, DataTAC, and ReFLEX carriers throughout North America such as: Arch Wireless(TM), Metrocall(R), PageNet Canada, SkyTel(R), and WebLink Wireless(TM). Enterprise Components NotifyLink Enterprise Exchange Edition is comprised of the following components, the Exchange Server Software and the Exchange Client Interface. The NotifyLink Exchange Server Software will run on Microsoft(R) Windows NT, Windows, XP, Windows 2000, or Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 with Service Pack 4.
