As for your example of existing companies issuing new stock and options and six days to market....

Maybe.

I am highly skeptical of this. In theory yes. In reality- no chance.

No company can drop everything and move that fast to get new shares or options to market or in the hands of employees even if they had everything ready to go and new certificates or options pre-printed.

It is a procedural bureaucracy which takes time.
