I ask you why the use of that phrase "apparent that you use it here as an insult against women" If a man has a lust for women, if a man interprets Islam allowing 4 wives as free sex with any woman, then why is it an insult to woman, why is it that Islam is bad. Why can we not interpret that as a man's stupidity to think so instead of an insult to woman. Are you that proverbial man who has to be apologetic to women out of guilt because of the treatment meted out to women by men. I don't since I grew up in a country where we had a woman leader at the helm. What we don't hear from the Muslim haters is that Islam also says if you marry four women, remember to also fulfill your responsibilities of raising the family you have with those women. It bestows that respect on womankind. Islam also says that the men who decide to have more than one wife, has to also deposit a mutually agreed to sum of money that the woman can use in case the man abandons that woman. Hence there is more to it than these misguided youths think of. There is respect for women in Islam than we would want to think. Hence to say that I insult women is preposterous. Instead if you had said that I am ridiculing these men,, then it would have been ok with me.
