QCOM'S price is based on fear

WADR, a stock trading at 10 times SALES is not priced based on fear.

As an investor, you seem to proceed from the belief that stocks move up and down based on reason and rationality

Come on Andrew, you know me better than that!
Stocks rise and fall on emotion for short term moves only.
What a definition of short term can be what ever time it takes to correct.
But eventually the trade back to reason and rational. Every time.
I've not lived through a bear market but I guarantee you one thing. earnings will catch up to price or price will meet earnings. That simple.
The road in between is hell!
I believe bear markets are by design made to try to make everyone broke; bulls as well as bears. The trick is to be a survivor at the end. I hope we here are all survivors!

Rather, GOLD seems to be saying that beyond today's clouds is a silver lining. The market responds accordingly.

What's gold telling us today? Sure was a pretty impressive whip saw in the miners today. Think it was a one day wonder? Perhaps they pull back, but remember we are in the early stages of this golden bull market and we're going up against the biggest of the big money so it's likely to be a bumpy road. but as sure as the sun will shine tomorrow and the next day, so too will gold, again, one day.

One day<G>
Gold gold
You make me old... :)
