I want to know what you think most shareholders would say.

I read the SJ mercury article on exec compensation and had very little outrage about Tom or Larry's pay. Or Mark Leslie who build vrts either.

JDS Uniphase was another story. 4 of the 10 top slots went to JDSU execs. Now there is an abusive company wrt shareholder equity. Non-performance bugs me.

I think I'd be more sensitive to this "option policing" if somebody would put performance in the equation.

Does anybody have any doubt that Tom built the CRM business out of not much at all, with his own capital? Same with Larry would Oracle have trumped IBM in the early 90s without him? Seems like people are throwing the baby out with the bathwater here.
