Warp, no disrespect meant here, so please take what I say with a grain of salt.

You have a desire to learn to trade using candlesticks as a guide, so with this in mind, I bring this message to you.

In the world of candlestick charting, gaps play a vital role. HOV had a nice gap up several days ago. This "window" as the Japanese like to call it, will serve as strong support on the downside. (Check out any chart you wish and you'll see gaps provided very good levels of support or resistance.)

When you look at other technical indicators, you'll notice that HOV is nothing better than trying to scalp a dollar or two. This could change of course, but part of candlestick charting is giving you a good reward to risk ratio.

HOV hasn't shown any signs of an exhaustion gap at this point, indicating you still buy the dips.
