Did you sense the lower gravitational pull from the sun during the total? LOL

I've heard that when that cone of shadow moves across the earth it does so at 180 miles an hour. One eye witness account I read said all the people she was waiting with out on a grassy hillside started screaming when it finally hit them.

I used a left-over (empty!;) dogfood can with a pinhole punched into the bottom

So my 50mm refractor puts me WAY AHEAD of the budding astronomers on this board Geesh -g- The $100 kit includes sun filters, moon filters, and a white screen for projecting the sun onto it.
