John, Hopefully I am correct in that you are a contact person
working for Silicon Investor that members can address concerns.
.
Not a technical issue for a bug, fix or feature,
but that some Si members that created threads
have not continued their membership,
and the thread needs maintenance.
.
Four months ago I asked for Silicon Investor's help,
and so far no action has been taken to correct the thread.
.
First I would like to make another comment about asking
for Silicon Investor's help. Two years ago I created my Silicon Investor
e-mail profile of username/password. From day 1 I was never able
to access my Silicon Investor e-mail feature to read my mail.
Upon asking for it to be looked into by a Silicon Investor personnal
obtaining my password/username from your side and sending me
that information, I was told that it was a "black box" and no one was
able to obtain that information. Now two years later I sent the web site
that records itself as the place where you have Silicon Investor's mail
handled, and I asked to receive my username/password, and so far
no reply from them. I'am not able to create a second e-mail account
since I already have a working one. Amazing that my username/password
that I submitted upon creation will not work, and I have tried every possible
combinations of lower/upper case and by chance I most likely typed in
a character different than I thought, so what I wrote on paper was
most likely not what my fingers typed in. But maybe the software
that received my typing placed another person's username/password
into my locations, as might be the case since when I try to access
that Help/Reminder Hint using my e-mail username displayed on the
bottom of the screen I get "invalid" username. Golly, all it would take
is to have my username/password e-mail accessed and sent to me.
So easy, and that "black box" answer to folks like me that has a wide
and deep computer programming ability does not hold water.

The person who created the following thread seems
not to be a Silcion Investor member at this time,
and the thread needs update'ness :o)
Could you please transfer Edit "ownership" to me
so that I may update it's header which needs an edit
of the stock symbol, along with current information displayed
for first time visitors.

Hello,
We are not able to do this.
I can change all of the needed information.
If you'll write back with a new header I can update that
as well as the symbol and title if need be......Jeff

Sure would be nice and actually good for Silicon Investor
if ownership of threads that have no active member be transfered
to members posting on that thread so that when people who visit
just for a read see a profession job being done rather than junk.
Before folks give up money for a membership they would want
to see that the folks there already are doing a good job, and the
first view visitors get is the thread header and stock symbols,
of which in my experience, about 5 threads have junk displayed.

John, I'm getting this reply a lot this morning.
