The Bush selection was the first stealth coup. I don't think that anyone thought that Bush & Co. would actually trash our democracy to determine the President. Nobody knew how much money they planned to get from Central Asia at that time. The other schemes like the California energy robbery and the secret missle expense program were also unknown. The lineup of ex-CIA and NSA operatives had tried such things over and over in other banana republics, but only now have they tried banana politics in America. TP
