I was referring to the common stereotype of the parochial small town American who, when you tell him you are from Canada, asks: "Is that in Quebec? I think I was there once?"

I love Americans. But I can drive around Vegas, Boston, or anywhere else for one day, and can give better directions than the locals.:-)
