My reaction was, sheesh, you need a degree in psychiatry to understand Arabs ;-) Yep, I see what you mean. However, given the political realities of the ME at the moment, that response makes sense whether Palestinian or whatever. The polls are political statements--we all respond to them that way, so we all respond to them with that in mind. Shhhh, said in a whisper, so no one else can hear, I've been known, when getting phone calls for political polls, to say much uglier things about politicians I don't wish to get elected than I actually believe.
