Lorne, I wondered how you came to possess such a convoluted view of a major world religion such as Islam. The link you provided is that of a lady who is fighting for women's rights. Such a cause is extremely relevant here is the US too. That is not a site for understanding Islam. She is politically motivated and to achieve her political motives, which is women's rights, she will go to any extent. How about trying this site where there are Islamic scholars who are not only recognized, but are also interpreting the Koran causing Islamic followers to keep believing in their faith. And there are the others such as that lady, Osama and others who are interpreting their version of the Koran. People like Mohammed Atta and the other hijackers of 9/11 listen to Osama and his men for their belief in the Koran. And people like you pick up the Koran from the sites you provided. Is there is any difference between what Atta and his men did and what some of you folks lurking on the thread do.
