the nothing is all important actually. we need not restrict the search to the nothing that exists beyond all matter. for things to exist as matter, they require space. at the smallest possible level, the separation between matter must be nothing. now, was it there before god created it. was the nothing in fact created by god? if so, what was the state of nothing before god created it? if there was nothing before creation... so on an so forth. who is to say that the nothing is not in fact god and that matter is what he creates, and that exists among him? should it not then be mentioned?
