You were right when you suggested the price paid for labor would rise when its SUPPLY(ahem- not demand side dude) is limited, but the above drivel is thoroughly false. Seeking to produce the best at the lowest possible cost is a principle that remains unaltered by the conditions(hypothetical or otherwise) we are working within.

No idea on the % but it would be disruptive (rhetorically speaking;). Correcting mistakes of the past is no easy matter (Civil War..very disruptive). Social Security will likely disrupt in a similar way. Generational wars.
