Well, I'm not sure. I wonder if anyone has done some estimates as to the number of illegals in the country, and their impact on our economy. It seems that many in our neck of the woods hold down 2-3 jobs in order to make ends meet. If they left, and the wages went up, we actually might not have enough labor, and then the wages will further increase, increasing cost of products and services, etc etc.

But, the moral dilemma is that we have an underclass of people who are denied services, in fear of the INS, and working their asses off so that a Big Mac can stay at $2.50.

I would probably favor an amnesty and naturalization process, while tightening the walls and raising wages slowly.
