MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY - GOING BLACK

Threadsters,

Here's a link to the great boondoggle of the 21st Century (so far), the MDA:

acq.osd.mil

I've spent a bit of time noodling this website, and danged if I can't for the life of me find out who the contractors are who are getting rich off this fat hog. Anybody got any data?

As the Washington Post said today:

washingtonpost.com

"The Missile Defense Agency denies that it is trying to keep the American public and the Congress in the dark. Nevertheless, it has been moving rapidly to change its classification guidelines so that previously unclassified information is now classified."

"Equally disturbing is the agency's new policy of withholding information from the Pentagon's own independent review offices, such as the Director of Operational Test and Evaluation."

Some kind of democratic oversight of the brasshats, eh?
