Zeev,

I didn't find the $100 billion figure incredible at all. In fact, from the last spending high to the 2007 estimate of $100 billion it is only a 7.5% growth rate. With the price increases associated with newer, more expensive technologies, that might be very meager unit growth underlying those projections.
