Michael Kelly says, "Take that, you Liberals!" One of my newfound contradictions is Kelly as the editor of The Atlantic Monthly and Kelly as the over the top, hyperventilating columnist. He should keep his day job, editor, and give up his night work. He has an interesting, defensible argument in here: wartime, necesarily, leads to loss of some liberties. And it would have been helpful to see him make that case. Instead he seems to think the best case he can make for it is to bash his political foes.
