I agree Tim. His last hurrah was being one of the few to suggest moderation as the bubble was getting ready to pop. It's been all downhill since, unexpected circumstances or not.

I don't know what he's up to except for sitting on his hands as the QQQs have lost almost 40% from the recent highs. If I heard correctly, he has been saying that it's too late to sell now. I also recall that he has been telling people from time to time that it's ok to DCA in although I'm not sure if that was only up to the 35% (odd since his own ports have been as low as 23% equities).

I find these things odd:

1. He's now saying that the bull was from 1982-2000. I thought he said in the late 90's that the bull was a decade old. Also, he didn't get fully invested until late 1990 I understand. What went on from 1982-1990?

2. He said that the Nas was a casino sector and he used the DOW and S&P500 when he talked about the market. However, he gets a lot of credit from people for basically calling a NAS top (well, not really but close enough). The bubble was a NAS and NAS related creation.

So, he was really timing the NAS in 2000, missing whole sectors which have gone up. Yet he screws up the market timing of the NAS. It's enough to make your head spin right off.
