Amazing that NO ONE in the mainstream was talking about this topic.

And Agreed with Patron... finest moment I've seen in SI. And there have been good ones, those guys who had QCOM nailed with the patents... some biotech calls. But Heinz's eloquent, rock solid [dare I say scientific?] argument against the core of the tech mania philosophy was timely, balsy, and showed a difficult [for the times] unwavering reard for truth.

Again, thank you Heinz. Untold millions have been made [and saved] on this thread alone.

That series of posts was the SI equivalent of the Scopes trial (with Heinz starring as Clarence Darrow, and Gilder as William Jennings Bryant).

Thanks for digging that up. It reminded me of how clownish things were doing the rally of summer/2000. (I was loaded for bear that summer and watched my puts die. Taught me a good lesson about not swinging for the fences.)
