A year later, she's still a proud, unemployed teacher.

And unless mommy and daddy buy a school for her to do her teaching in, she will continue to be unemployed.

These kids have got to learn they aren't free to be me, if me doesn't fit in with the corporate world..Like it or not, those are the cold hard facts of life.

The Cruel Hard Business world doesn't care if they keep their bedroom clean, but they do care if they come to work with spiked purple hair, and want a job selling the company's widgets!

We had the same discussion with our oldest boy 10 years ago. He wanted to get his ear pierced but he also wanted to be a pilot. My husband told him that if he wanted a corporate job, he needed to be clean shaven, have no piercings or visible tatoos. He said once he got anything pierced or tatooed, that was gonna be the end of his dream. No airline will hire him, it's as simple as that.

He's a pilot now.....no piercings, one tatoo on his upper thigh of a tribal sun. He just had to do it........
