earlie, I am with you on that issue. I don't think we can return to business as usual without liquidating the excesses -debt, capacity, valuation ; correcting the maladjustments - low savings rate, high consumption, low investment rate - with the exception of tech where there is excess investment, trade & current account deficit. Like Tony Dwyer ( firm?)once said on CNBS bottoms are made on time not price. mike
