That is the trick, isn't it?! And no one - who's being honest - will ever claim it's easy to do.

The vast majority of web threads are populated by day traders and ST players. So it's only natural that most interest would center around very ST forecasting. And Don Sew is outstanding at that.

However, I was taught to work in Intermediate time periods (tops and bottoms separated by anywhere from a few weeks - minimum - to multi-month time intervals for the more important moves).

Even after years of experience identifying important tops and bottoms - as best I can - in the energy sector (where I've always done most of my work), am always looking for ways to improve the quality of my entries on individual stocks. Whether it's a sector or an individual equity, no 2 bottoms (or tops for that matter) are precisely the same.

That's one of the reasons it's interesting and fun.

Well, I'm gone for the day. Off to what should be a great outdoor jazz concert.
