Hi Martin! I think that is a proper article for the WSJ to investigate. But, I saw McCain on C-SPAN the other day, quibbling about some program that costs us a few million dollars a year.

My first thought was, why is McCain spending all his time and energy on this trivial matter, when we are at war? Is he just being subversive? He would hold up a bill on terrorism over 2 million dollars?

As for Bush vetoing this package, I think that would be a bad idea and send the wrong message. Surely there can be another way to punish the democrats for this act of treachery, than by delaying necessary outlays to finance the war against terrorism.
