I did think of a parallel. The IRS initiates audits based on what they consider red flags in returns and this is legal. Btw, what they believe constitutes red flags is also classified.

If there is probable cause, then by all means interrogate. But if the only probable cause is a person's religion or nationality, then their civil rights are as protected by the law as the president's.

It is a privilege to be a citizen. Let's keep it that way.
