The Clinton's intentionally damaged White house property, they should go to prison for that.

What a bunch of babies. The GAO report estimates anywhere from 13 to 14 to $20,000 of 'damage' in the Clinton / Bush transition.

The report itself is estimated to have cost $200,000 :)

(Typical Washington efficiency).

Furthermore, ... "The report said "some of the same types of observations that were made concerning the condition of the White House complex during the 2001 transition were also made during the 1993 transition," when Clinton was taking office. The report said that the GAO was "unable to conclude whether the 2001 transition was worse than previous ones" but that career government employees recalled similar conditions in 1989, when President Bush's father was inaugurated."

You didn't see the incoming Clintonites in '93, or Poppy Bush's people in '89 (when they were transitioning from the Reagan/Bush administration!) cry foul... or waste government money on such a puny problem.

There were no cries to arrest Reagan staffers in '89, or Bush functionaries in '93, heard from he lunatic fringes.
