The French are totally humiliated and devastated for being eliminated from the World Cup. I think the whole country is mourning and weeping right now. You don't know the feeling unless you have lived in France and see first hand for yourself how they love soccer and take pride in the sport. I am not exaggerating when I say it is a national tragedy. Personally, I think they suck at this World cup. They did not play well, they were indecisive and confused. My feelings about any sports in general and soccer in particular is "may the best team win", I was routing for "les bleus" to came back after the lost to Senegal, but they managed only a 0-0 tie with Uruguay, I knew by then France is not a good team and they would be eliminated from the first round. France scored zero goals in this tournament, it was sad to see the defending champion exited in that humiliating manner, but that is the name of the game. I am now routing for the USA......lol Regarding the good ole USA team, they are awesome this World Cup tournament. They played very well and have the skill to compete with the best. With a little luck, they may make it to the final four. I don't think they can win it all by beating the top tier teams such as Brazil, England, Spain, W Germany yet, but if those teams put their guards down and take the USA team lightly, they will be in for a big surprise. USA will make it to the second round, no doubt about it. They are playing the final first round game against the hapless Poland team, USA team should win this game convincingly. PS: From your post, you don't seem to know much about soccer. Are you a fan? Why are you interested?
