Bill...you are correct about "outside of the US"....As near as I can tell Ameicans like their appliances (toys) as separate entities. A few years back there were the predictions that your computer would become the TV and your TV a computer (Gateway tried it). And some brash companies such as Sony wanted your TV, DVD, Personal Computer, Walkman, GPS, MPeg 3 player, toaster and pooper scooper to be packaged into a single appliance. Drivers and bad now just using the cell phones and trying to drive....do we really want them talking on the phone, playing internet games, checking messages and trying to avoid pedestrians ...all at the same time.
