Well, not on every trade, but today will be a net positive.

If you have 1000 shares of a stock and it moves a quarter, that is $250. Minus commission (I am still with MER, so it is high), I would still make $170. That was what I was trying to do...do a bunch of trades where I made $200 to $500. Some of them worked, some of them didn't.

BTW: You see this choppy trading from me every couple of months. It usually means that I am at a point of indecision. More often than not, it has meant that I should have gone with my first instinct and done some more covering.
