Where did those govt and consumer spending dollars go? I would have thought they would have become revenues for whoever was on the other end of the spending? What I am saying is that if GDP went up, then total sales i.e. revs went up. i.e we are not at recession lows for revs so there is no excuse for high P/S.

The reason for high P/S is easy.
