My main point was that the Islamic faith locks the adherent into a time schedule where little can be accomplished. The rigidity of their praying schedule has a direct effect on their productivity, culture, and economy. Subsequently this also leads to animosity towards those who are more prosperous and not bound by the same constraints. Regarding Mecca consider the implications for an architect designing restrooms and which direction they face.
