Well, Al Capone was at war/terrorist with you, but he wasn't an enemy combatant [though he perhaps had Sicilian links].

It's funny watching the rules and definitions fail to fit traditional norms.

The WAT has got some likely outcomes which freedom-loving people would not find ideal. Rule of law, freedom to do anything which doesn't create a victim and so on should not be given up lightly. Habeas Corpus is a fundamental tenet of law. Hang on, Tenet is some Bush side-kick isn't he? Maybe he's taken over where the laws used to live.

What a merry melange this is.
