Fwiw, in Ian McDonald's 6/28/02 Wall Street Journal interview with Robert Sanborn, "bargain hunter" and ex-manager of the Oakmark Fund, Mr. Sanborn, asked about Tyco, is quoted as saying: "At $20 I was interested, and at $15 I thought it was the only one of these accounting-issue companies that I could own. I think if you believe their numbers, it's worth $35. I put a discount on that given what's happened, so now I'd say $25. But also given the fact that they have new management and an inclination to clean things up, it could get to $35."
