i hope i helped a few folks and opened their eyes to what might happen.....and is happening...and what it all leads to... Jeff, keep in mind that there are probably ten SI lurkers for every one poster. I know, because I lurked here for two years before becoming a member, and I talked to a whole lot of other folks, (particularly on Motley Fool), who did the same. Actually, Jeff, the thing that brought you ought of hiding was my post showing the gap in the COMP from 1997 at 1306. I was astonished that nobody even acknowledged it for nearly a week, while I thought it was a great find that would be of use in the near future. I didn't think you were nuts on the re-trace. I just didn't quite understand your system. I did think you were a quite confident, and I wasn't sure why that was. You were kind enough to explain it, and we began our discourse, which resulted in this great thread. We've also discovered a thing or two since then that we've been able to use to our advantage. I know I've made money, and I assume you're always making money. That's what it's about in the end. I'll be out most of the day tomorrow, so I may take profits on the opening gap and initiate a partial put position if we get to COMP 1535-1540.
