Hi Darleen, Fulltime live-in domestic help in HK cost as much/little as a China mainland PhD in biology or, FWIW, second-grade neuro-surgeon, and for that matter (FTM), time-shared mistress.

For those in HK with a capital base, and global investing/hedging opportunities, there will be many great changes to look forward to, while paddling in the gentle surf waiting for the globalization medication to take effect.

For others in HK, such as mistresses and domestic helpers, best they start working towards their PhD degree in amino-laser therapy or finish thesis on molecular gas data storage technology.

During deflation storm, cash is not everything but the only thing. During inflation tsunami, real asset the same. Thus the critical question: which way are we headed, and what is coming toward us?
